Calypso del Sol is located on Chocolate Hole East Road
just off the South Shore Road. Travel time to downtown Cruz Bay is about
7 minutes. This puts one in close proximity (about 4 minutes drive)
to grocery stores and other shopping needs at The Marketplace, and close
to numerous fine restaurants. The beaches, tennis courts, kids day out
center, fitness center, restaurants, and concierge services of the Westin
are available to St. John visitors not staying at the Westin.

Access to the beach and fine snorkeling at Chocolate Hole is gained by a short walk, or you can drive to the beach access point. The Villa faces west, so the evening sunset is a marvel over the Bay and over Pillsbury Sound.
To visit the famous North Shore beaches, such as Trunk Bay and Caneel, one only needs take a 10 to 15 minute drive. The East End of the island and access to other island beaches is also readily available from this excellent but private location.
The Virgin Island National Park that covers 2/3 of St. John has 22 marked trails. Beautiful white sand beaches fringe the island. Some of the most unspoiled are on the East End, near Coral Bay. You can charter a boat and sail or power your way to spectacular reefs where snorkeling and diving are the best in the Caribbean. Or take a day trip to one of the islands comprising the British Virgin Islands. Some charters will even pick you up right in Chocolate Hole Bay.
